There are many incorrect scriptural misunderstandings, based on mistaken interpretations, false assumptions and erroneous religious beliefs.
The following seven errors are commonplace, but no less wrong in their conclusions.
See if you can determine the correct interpretations, before reading the explanations that follow.
1. The New Testament teaches the law of Moses has been done away with.
Firstly, the phrase "law of Moses" is a misinterpretation.
The Law, which includes the Ten Commandments, was given by the Creator through Moses, not authored by Moses ("Joshua" 22:5, 24:26).
This is the Creator's Law for all generations, which will exist forever, according to Psalm 111:7-8, 119:89, 152, "Matthew" 5:18 and Luke 21:33.
Righteousness is defined as obedience to this Law, while sin is the violation of the Creator's Law (Psalm 119:172; I "John" 3:4; and cf. Psalm 119:142 for additional evidence and proof that righteousness, like the Law that defines it, will exist forever).
2. Saturday is the sabbath of the Old Testament, Sunday is the sabbath of the New Testament.
Actually, the Julian Calendar originally had a nundinal cycle (market) 8-day week until the fourth century, in the time of Constantine, when the modern 7-day week was instituted.
This was based on an Egyptian/Babylonian 7-day astronomical/pagan religious week, based upon the sun, moon, and five known planets (Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn). Ancient Egypt had a 10-day week.
Today, three of the days of the modern Gregorian calendar week still bear the names of these pagan associations: Saturday = Saturn's Day, Sunday = Sun's day, and Monday = Moon's day.
Although the names have changed to pagan Norse equivalents for the other four days, these still bear a direct pagan connection to their original designations: Tuesday = Tiw's day or Mars day, Wednesday = Woden's or Oden's day or Mercury's day, Thursday = Thor's day or Jupiter's day, and Friday = Frigg's day or Venus' day.
Neither Old nor New Testament scriptures reveal any of these days, but rather outlaw them as unlawful forms of false pagan worship (Deuteronomy 4:19, 17:3).
Instead, the annual sabbaths cannot be observed without conflicting with any modern week day alleged "sabbath," since these feast and fast sabbaths can fall on any day of the pagan week.
And because the regular sabbath command requires six days of work prior to each actual sabbath (Exodus 20:9, 11; Deuteronomy 5:13), while the seventh day is always a sabbath (Exodus 20:10; Deuteronomy 5:14), to not conflict with the annual sabbaths the regular sabbaths must have always been day of the year sabbaths (based upon when the annual sabbaths occur), and never day of the pagan "week" sabbaths, as currently observed.
Absent any scriptural command that authorizes such a major doctrinal change, we must conclude that the modern week-day "sabbaths" are all as false and pagan in origin as is the modern pagan-origin "week."
3. The Savior's and Creator's only name of salvation is known, and/Or it is unimportant which name we use, because the bible tells us so.
The Savior's actual name was first revealed in Zechariah 3:1 (repeated in verses 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9), as Yahvsave (correct transliteration into English of "Joshua"), while "Joel" 2:32 reveals that Yahveh is our Creator's only true name of salvation.
(Neither "Lord" nor "God" are translations, but rather substitutions for this name, as it occurs in the original Ibreyan -- ancient "Hebrew" -- texts; the former being a modern equivalent of the word Baal, the latter being the name of an ancient Babylonian idol.)
Acts 2:21 quotes "Joel" 2:32, and in Acts 4:12 the same disciple/Apostle said: "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
Since the New Testament does not contain this name (Yahveh, Yahveh our Savior, or Yahvsave), in the Greek texts -- and the original Greek Septuagint translation, according to ancient historians, contained this name in original Ibreyan letters in the Greek text (which ignorant Greeks assumed were Greek letters, written from left to right -- rather than Ibreyan letters written from right to left -- and mispronounced the Creator's and Savior's name "PiPi" as a result) -- and because the Yavdan historian "Josephus," in the first century during the time of the Apostle Paul's ministry, said he had to learn the Greek language from the Greek scholars in Rome, because his fellow Yasraelites discouraged this sort of learning (Antiquities XX, xi, 2; Against Apion I, 9), is evidence and proof positive that Greek was never the original language in which the Apostles wrote the New Testament.
Whether or not the original Greek translation kept the name intact, as did the original Septuagint, the only extant copies of both today fail to preserve this major doctrinal fact inviolate.
Where that name is clearly revealed in the context of the original Ibreyan scriptures, it is always said that this is His name forever, His memorial to all generations, and that He will not give His glory to another (Exodus 3:15; "Isaiah" 42:8, 48:11).
4. December 25th is the Savior's birthday, and Christmas celebrates this today.
In reality, the true date of the actual Savior's birth is well known by historians to have been nowhere near the year that begins the so-called "Christian Era" -- also known as A.D. (Year of the "Lord," Common Era and Christian Error) -- but this historic event took place during the reign of Herod the Great, who died in 4 B.C.E., December 25th being a calendar date that did not even exist in that time, more than 1,500 years before the Gregorian calendar came into existence.
December 25th -- also nowhere near the springtime when the census tax was taken, during which the true Savior was born (Luke 2:1-7) -- was, in the Julian calendar of that day and age, the time of the winter solstice, when Bacchus (in Rome) or Dionysus (in ancient Greece), pagan false idols representing the selfsame concept, were worshiped through sex and fertility rites, which included whore-mongering, winebibbing and drunken orgies.
Yule trees and logs represented the death of Nimrod and his supposed "resurrection" in the form of his son Ninus, via his mother/"wife" Semiramis, Isis or Easter, also known as Esther after whom the only uninspired book of the Bible is named (the pagan origin of similar sex-worship and fertility religious rites involving rabbits and eggs in the springtime).
Decking fir trees with holly and ornaments was an ancient idolatrous pagan custom and practice, outlawed and forbidden by Old Testament scripture (cf. "Jeremiah" 10:2-8).
Dionysus, or Dion-ysus (meaning "Lord Zeus") is actually the origin of the false name for the Savior found in modern bibles: "Lord Jesus," while "Christ" is another pagan interpolation, most likely originating in the Eastern religions as Chrisna or Krishna.
No original inspired scripture has ever been found to justify any of these false, pagan substitute names, whereas the King James Version mistakenly mistranslates the Old Testament patriarch Yahvsave (also mistranslated "Joshua" throughout the English bible) as "Jesus" in "Hebrews" 4:8 (and in Acts 7:45 in the original 1611 version of the King James bible).
All of which evidences the fact that all these "bible" names are nothing but corrupt substitutes for the Creator's and Savior's true name, revealed in the original inspired Ibreyan language scriptures of the Old Testament.
5. People continue living as spirit beings after death, or go immediately to heaven or hell.
This, like most other erroneous doctrinal beliefs, is based on some scriptural evidence that is largely misinterpreted by being taken entirely out of context.
In Revelation we see people before the heavenly throne -- including the 24 Elders -- who were once dead, praising the Lamb and saying they have been saved (in Revelation 4:10-11, 5:8-10, and 7:9-10, 13-17).
Yet these, and the 144,000 (12,000 from each of the twelve tribes of Yasrael), in Revelation 7:4-8 will return to earth with the Savior, and remain where He is -- on earth -- to rule over it a thousand years (see: Revelation 14:1-5, 19:6-9, 11-16, esp. verse 14).
In context, these elect are those who are brought back to life at the start of the millennium (1,000 years), at the first resurrection (Revelation 20:4-6). Note the words in verse 4: "they came back to life" as evidence of what scripture teaches about death. Also:
"For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing..." (Ecclesiastes 9:5).
"When their spirit departs they return to the ground, on that very day their thoughts perish" (Psalm 146:4; note: the NIV corrupts the words of the original text by changing the translation to "their plans come to nothing").
"For in death there is no remembrance of you: in the grave who will give you thanks?" (Psalm 6:5; the NIV again tries to fudge the translation into: "Who praises you from the grave?").
Further evidence of this is the fact that, in the Savior's day, the Patriarch king David was not said to be "in heaven" but rather:
"For David did not ascend to heaven..." (Acts 2:34), and:
"Men and brethren, let me confidently tell you about the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us to this day" (Acts 2:29).
6. Heaven is the ultimate reward for the righteous and hell is a place of never-ending torment for the wicked, and we go to one or the other immediately following death.
This is a very common misconception based upon a much too cursory reading of scripture.
The translators of old helped along this misperception by adding in unscriptural allusions to torment and suffering "for ever and ever" in some scriptures, which contradicts what scripture elsewhere reveals is the actual truth on this "hot" topic.
For instance, the resurrection of the dead is the subject of I Corinthians chapter 15, which concludes:
"We [the chosen elect alone] will not all sleep [be dead], but we will all be changed -- in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will all be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with imperishability, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: 'Death has been swallowed up in victory'" (verses 51-54, cf. "Isaiah" 25:8).
The rest of the dead will not be brought back to life until after the 1,000 year millennium, at the time of the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:5, 11-13).
The lake of fire (hell) is not a never-ending torture, but rather it is the second death, which is the opposite of life:
"The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire" (Revelation 20:14-15).
When scripture says, for instance: "their worm shall not die" ("Isaiah" 66:24; Mark 9:44, 46 [both verses omitted from the NIV], and 48), it does not say "they die not" in reference to those who perish. In fact, these worms are maggots, and they do not die, but rather pupate into flies, etc., which lay more eggs that hatch into yet more maggots or pupa.
The righteous will be with the Savior wherever He is (Revelation 14:4: "They follow the Lamb wherever He goes"), and it is evident He will rule here on earth for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:6), after which the Father will join the Lamb here on earth, where they will dwell in the New Yaravsalem from then on (Revelation 21:10-11, 22-23).
Notice:
"And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, 'Now the dwelling of the Almighty One is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and the Almighty One Himself will be with them and be their Almighty One'" (Revelation 21:3).
7. Jews are Yasraelite, or all of Yasrael today, and Israel is the prophesied return of all the tribes of Yasrael to the promised land.
As modern "Jewish" historian Arthur Koestler revealed in his treatise on the subject titled: "The Thirteenth Tribe," most modern "Jews" are not related to or descended from the original Semitic Yasraelite tribe of Yavdah, or any of the other 11 tribes of ancient Yasrael.
Rather, they are largely composed of racial descendants of Esav or the oriental Khazars (descendants of Yapeth, not Sem), a nation that "converted" en masse to "Judaism" (a Babylonian Talmud based corruption of scriptural truth) in the Middle Ages, as a means of consolidating their position between the Christians to the west and the encroaching Mongol hoards and later Muslims to the east.
The end result of these mostly secular, or conservative religious "Jews" is the monstrosity known today as "Zionism," their takeover and abuse of Palestine and the Palestinians, Syrians, Iraqis, Libyans, with threats against Iran as well as other Muslim strongholds, and the ugly terrorist organization now known as the Mossad, which exports terrorism around the world, often blaming its acts on whomever the "Zionists" seek to incriminate, such as Arabs in general, as "terrorists" and fanatics.
On the other hand, Hasidic Jews openly oppose and reject all this, strive to live in peace with their Palestinian, Syrian, and other muslim neighbors, and abhor the state of Israel as an abomination that does not fulfill scriptural prophecies about the regathering and return of all Yasraelites to the land of promise.
Pretending to be the "promised seed," most modern "Jews" have used the slander of "antisemitic" to ward off any honest investigation into these things by the public, even against the legitimate modern descendants of Yasrael and Yavdah, who are more Semitic than the majority of modern "Jews" will ever be.
In just this fashion the way has been paved for the major false prophet beast, and the world-destroying despotic beast, as a false "messiah" which will arise from those who falsely claim to be "Jews" but who are, in fact, liars (see: Revelation 2:9, 3:9; cf. 13:3-4, 8, 11-17)!
The number of this beast, "666," reveals the name of this major false "messiah," when the only three instances of this number in the Old Testament in the original scriptural language of Ibreya are examined.
Rather than trying to find the number in some current or modern name, as all others mistakenly try to do, the name of the beast is revealed instead in the original Ibreyan phrases standing for this number in those three scriptures.
Taken as partial acronyms, they say either: "The sun, vsus" (or ysus, or Jesus; I Kings 10:14, Ezra 2:13), or "the name of him is vsus" ("his name is Jesus," II Chronicles 9:13)!
While the word "Christ" is composed in Greek of the first letter Chi, which also stands for the number 600 in that ancient (now dead) language, while the last letter Tav also stands for the number 6. The letter standing for the number 60 is Xi, which is also the symbol of a coiled serpent.
Placing this symbol inside the first and last letters of the word Christ results in the number 666, or that old serpent the devil possessing the beast who falsely claims to be the returned messiah!
Prophecies Now Being Fulfilled In Your Sight
These seven major mistaken scriptural beliefs have kept so many sincere but errant believers far from the pure truth, and these correct interpretations revealed to you here -- perhaps for the very first time -- are just a portion of the promised and prophesied restoration of all things.
Just as foretold would happen before the unexpected return of the true Messiah Yahvsave, to separate the wise from the foolish, the truly righteous from the impostors and wicked children of the adversary (Malachi 4:5-6; "Matthew" 17:11; Mark 9:12; Luke 1:17), the above is just a portion of the growing evidence and proof for the beginning fulfillment of these prophecies.
The only question remaining being whether or not you are capable of heeding their strident warnings!
