All Good Things Must Come To A Beginning

An Audio Message From the Publisher:

This is Hank Scott, for The Pure Truth Restored...

There is something fundamentally wrong about certain trite, hackneyed, old sayings, yet they persist despite their error.

Take the time-worn adage "All good things must come to an end," for instance.

Perhaps in the history and view of carnal mortals, ultimately subject to death, this might make a little "sense" -- but is this really true?

Do all good things come to an end?

Despite fears to the contrary, the sun has been giving the earth warmth and light, consistent enough seasons to rely upon for husbandry and horticulture, and teeming life even in the ocean depths, far removed from its pervasive effect, and it will always continue to be a reliable resource.

Despite polluted efforts of industrial madness by modern men and women, the atmosphere is another reliable resource that constantly cleanses itself, and waters the earth, making continued life possible.

These good things have certainly not come to any end in recorded history, including that which may be called the scripture behind the bible, or original history.

Human and animal life itself, despite the extinction of some entire species, has never come to an end, and never will.

Despite fevered science fiction speculations to the contrary, the ultimate future is not -- and will never be -- the dark, dismal, demented, or destitute and destroyed world of endless curses far too many accept today without question or regret.

These may well serve as warnings of what may befall a near-future generation (and according to inspired scriptural prophecy, certainly will briefly take place), but they are definitely not the end of all good things.

In fact, according to those selfsame prophecies, the coming evil times will be mercifully brief and will finally come to an end.

Peace and prosperity, and every good thing, will then finally come to a beginning, at long last.

Then, if you should live to see that glorious time when the Kingdom of heaven exists upon this earth, this new saying: "All good things must come to a beginning," will finally come to pass!
