Grace vs. Law?

There are many today who will assure you that the Law and Commandments are no longer in force or effect...that grace is all you need for salvation.

Is there any truth behind this assertion? Or is this just another mistaken religious interpretation of heretical false faith posing as the “truth,” and beckoning you like a siren toward certain wreck and ruin?

Why Blessings?

Let’s begin with the entire premise behind the “grace vs. law” doctrine, that there was something fundamentally wrong with the Creator’s Law and this necessitated Him doing away with it, and replacing that “failed” concept with the notion of His grace or forgiveness being all you need for salvation.

First of all, why were rich, bounteous, protective and over-sufficient blessings promised to those who obeyed the Law and Commandments (Leviticus 26:3-13)?

All these good things -- from plentiful and nutritious crops to perfect weather, and peace and safety from the ravages of war, or productivity and fertility, and even to the blessed presence of our Creator to serve and defend His faithful elect -- were all promised to those who would keep His Law and Commandments perfectly.

A Senseless Belief

Why would He bother with all this, knowing full well -- as an omniscient Being -- most would be unwilling and refuse to obey or qualify for these blessings?

Why bother to institute His Law and Commandments in the first place, if they and the blessings from obeying them were only ever intended to be temporary to begin with?

The senselessness of this belief earmarks the Christian faith -- such as it is -- as skewed, flawed and errant.

To posit the notion that He who said: “I do not change, therefore you sons of Ya’acob are not consumed” (Malachi 3:6), suddenly decided to change His entire approach to salvation is, to be frank, more than a little dishonest, childish and naive.

It makes no sense, proffers no reasonable explanation, and reeks of convenient confusion concerning the real motives behind those who teach this rank heresy.

Which is exactly what inspired scripture itself teaches it to be!

What Is The Covenant?

That the old covenant was abolished, and replaced with a new covenant is indisputable.

But to confuse and equate the covenant, which was based upon a promise to obey and hold sacrosanct the Creator’s Law and Commandments, with the Law and Commandments themselves, is like accusing the baby of being the same as the contents of its soiled diaper.

Nobody in their right mind, hopefully, would think it right and proper to throw out the baby, while keeping the contents of the diaper, based solely on the smell (while perversely holding onto that which stinks with passionate zeal and religious fervor)!

Yet this is precisely what Christianity does, when it claims the new covenant “frees” us from any requirement to obey the Creator’s Law and Commandments!

The Real New Covenant

It was due to disobedience that the old covenant was abolished (Hebrews 8:9, 13). How then could the same disobedience be the basis for a new covenant, or the law that defines that disobedience be abolished without also abandoning the knowledge or wisdom that defines the offense in the first place?

To believe this is criminally inane, gullible or insane, and utterly unbelievable to anyone with enough sense to honestly, carefully and thoroughly examine the premise and its flawed conclusion.

Instead, the new covenant is one in which the Laws and Commandments of the Creator are written upon the hearts, and are ever-present in the minds, of those who are to be legitimately counted among the Elect (Hebrews 8:10-11).

The Meaning Of Grace

Only on this basis does any former sinner, who repents of (turns away from) their sins, deserve to have the grace of forgiveness, which is the Creator’s act of forgetting the penalty they would otherwise justly incur (verse 12).

In other words, obedience to the Law and Commandments is still required, else there would be no need for it to be written upon the hearts, and kept in the forefront of the minds, of those who are saved.

You simply cannot wash the “robes” of your conduct and spiritual intentions clean while you simultaneously soil them with continued willful disregard for the Creator’s Law and Commandments, through rebellious disobedience.

That is the very antithesis of righteousness and salvation as defined by the patriarchs, prophets and apostles who produced the inspired scriptures!

These alone, and not present-day religious misinterpretations thereof, define the true meaning and intention of the phrase "saved by grace" (cf. Romans 3:24; Ephesians 2:5, 8).

Grace Via Law!

It isn’t “grace vs. law,” after all, but rather grace via obedience to the Law and Commandments, that truly defines the necessity for the restoration of all things, including the Law and Commandments revealed through Creator Yahveh’s servant Moses.

Unless these are increasingly taught, accepted, followed and obeyed by an elect group of seekers after actual salvation today, no life on this old world could survive to see the institution of the Kingdom of peace and prosperity, of the Prince of peace, as described so gloriously in the closing chapters of the prophecy of “Ezekiel” (chapters 40-48)!

Otherwise the earth is due for total destruction in a fiery but just Judgment, to cleanse it of all the life-threatening genetically adulterated garbage (GAG non-foods), radioactivity, chemicals, drugs, vaccines, weapons of mass deception and destruction, false political propaganda, hallucinations, radioactive death and misery raining down from the sky or polluting the world’s oceans, and every other form of physical, moral and spiritual contamination, so prevalent in this world today as a result of following the dictates of carnal hearts, such as “religious,” “scientific” and “medical” fraud (“Malachi” 4:4-6; cf. “Matthew” 24:21-22; Mark 13:18-20).

Disobedience Or Grace?

Will you allow this entirely bogus “grace vs. law” dispute to derail or sidetrack you from a glorious and blessed salvation, by continued disobedience?

Or will you seize this calling to ultimately make a better life for yourself and those you care about, and a better world for your having been allowed to participate and share in the blessing of this gift called life itself?

Only through an obedient spirit, heart, mind and practice can grace overcome the penalty for disobeying the Law of life, and life-preserving Commandments of the Creator, who desires above all else for you to experience and enjoy His blessings and the joy they create, in perpetuity!
