Have All Prophecies Failed?

The modern age suffers from a glut of anti-inspiration, or doubt.

Faith in ages old prophecies has faltered and, some think, failed altogether.

Prophets, and inspired prophecies, apparently went out with the generation that ushered in some of the most vivid prophecies of the New Testament era, from the Messianic visions of the end age found in the first four books of those scriptures, to the Revelation to end all revelations, which ends the bible.

But was this the end of all prophetic revelation, really?

Or has the attention of everyone been sidetracked with seemingly endless fictional nostrums of literature, the stage, screen, radio, television, and now the Internet. away from inspired prophecy and toward the bleakest, darkest, most depressing and utterly false visions of the future of humanity on earth.

Lessons In False Prophecy

Yes, there may well be some temporary truth to what science-fiction proffers by way of prognostications of dire times ahead.

Nowhere is it more false, however, than when it posits a future utterly devoid of hope, reason, sanity and blessings for those who endure and survive to see the perfect future that awaits those deserving few, absent the mono-mythic "super" (violent) supposed "hero" so prevalent in most fiction today.

How can I know this for certain?

What gives me the right to say such things?

Were it not for having witnessed, been a part of, and even having been the conduit for some amazing prophecies that have come to pass in my lifetime, your doubts and questions would indeed be valid.

No man has any right to claim to be, or call himself, a prophet absent some pretty convincing factual evidence of this reality.

I have personally known, spoken, corresponded, and argued with quite a number of those who made this mistake, under the deluded belief that thinking themselves -- or others blindly accepting them -- to be "prophets" somehow made it so.

Some even took to the deceitful habit of "prophesying" -- in various forms at different times and places -- exactly opposite events during the same period of time.

Such was a man I knew who proclaimed in one of his many books "seven years of drought and famine" while, conversely in another volume, he claimed the exact same time period would be "seven years of feasting and plenty."

Later, after those seven years proved to be a mixture of a little drought, and the exact opposite, this man proclaimed his "prophecies" to have been "true," and therefore absolute proof of his supposed "inspiration," calling and, of course, authority to tell everyone else how to run their lives, all according to his own highly biased, prejudicial and belligerent whims, thoughts and directions!

Never mind the fact that, looked at in a different but opposite light, his failures to accurately forecast the exact conditions was proof positive that nothing he said was inspired or prophetic at any time!

What Is Real Prophecy?

Vocal and verbose charlatans such as this have given true prophecy a bad name and reputation over the years, to the point that prophecy is today largely lampooned, ridiculed and lambasted, often with good reason.

And if that's all there was to it, nothing would be more deserved -- but for one pesky, annoying, tiny little fact...

Some of it has been right on the money, amazingly accurate, and continues to prove beyond doubt that inspired prophecy does still exist, and is something we all need -- indeed must -- heed, if we hope to survive what lies just ahead of us, in the next couple of decades.

Let's begin with the failed prophecies of the "end of the world" that centered around the entire year 2,000 myth, and more recently 2012.

Why was everyone so wrong about the Savior returning before the year 2,000 -- as the so-called "prophets" mentioned above all falsely foretold?

Does the fact it didn't happen, when they all said it would, prove it never will take place?

Or is this evidence of a more pestilent problem and inaccuracy in our method of telling time, that dates back to medieval mistakes perpetuated in false religious mythology with skewered scriptures as the only "proof" they simply do not, and never did, support?

Mistaken Calendar Proved False

Take the supposed year of the Savior's birth as a case in point.

Most religious "authorities" assumed, taught and assured their ardent followers that the basis for the Gregorian calendar's counting of time from this pivotal event was and is entirely accurate.

Yet, contextual and historical evidence has surfaced that proves beyond a doubt that this birth actually took place nearly five years before the year designated by "christianity" en mass.

Not only that, it also proves the time of year to have been spring, during the lambing season, and not the middle of wintertime, again as falsely taught and believed by a majority today.

Why didn't the second coming take place 2,000 years later, as wrongly expected and pontificated by so many?

Could it be that the year of His birth has nothing whatever to do with His ministry, which began about 32 years later, 27 years after the supposed start of the epoch most of the modern world thinks of as starting the first millennium?

One thing from that era that can be accurately dated, though, is the year of the death, burial and resurrection of the Savior, shortly after which He departed with the promise to return at the set time for this still future event.

That being the year 30 C.E. (Common Era, or Error), is it just possible that there still remains less than two decades before the actual year 2,000 arrives?

1984 Not Here Yet?

In fact, from the spring of the year 2014, until the spring of 2015, the actual year -- counted from this prime event -- will be the somewhat prophetic year of 1984 (according to the novelist George Orwell), or 1984 A.R. (After Resurrection), if you prefer.

Little wonder then that so many evil things foretold in that apocalyptic book are even now starting to unfold.

Could this have been a prophetic foretaste of things to come after all, so dismissed by most when they didn't happen according to the mistaken mundane calendar in common usage today?

While so many have lost faith, their belief having been jaded by prognostications gone awry -- proclaimed by countless false "prophets" and self-aggrandizing fortune-telling frauds -- this by no means invalidates true prophecy or the prophets sent to deliver it.

But how can you tell exactly who these are, and true prophecy from all the false and fraudulent counterfeits out there?

Signs Of A True Prophet

One of the problems with recognizing a true prophet is the fact that, other than inspired and accurate prophecies, they are no different from you and I. In fact it could be anyone, anywhere at any time who is chosen to convey such messages.

For the most part true prophets will be the least likely to put on any show of being a prophet, or try to raise a following, much less gain any income from their gift.

More than that, they are just as likely (far more so than those falsely claiming to be "prophets") to be generally ignored, despised, and even hated, sometimes to the point of extreme antipathy enough to cause the more violent to want to kill them!

A true prophet has a long history of enduring such persecutions and abuses as being reviled, though innocent being falsely accused of "crimes," ejected from groups and meetings based on gossip, slander, libel or similar, related incidents.

    Why is this?

The greatest prophet of them all, who also happens to be the Savior Himself, revealed that: "a prophet is not without honor, except in his own hometown and among his own people" ("Matthew" 13:57; Mark 6:4; "John" 4:44), and "no prophet is accepted in his own hometown" (Luke 4:24).

Such "honors" a true prophet usually receives are fear, apprehension and misapprehension, loathing, hatred, despite, rejection, suspicion and general denial by the foolishly arrogant, condescending, autocratic, and vainly conceited; especially from those deceitful false "prophets" who wrongly claim the "authority," attention and respect they feel they alone deserve.

The Nature And Dangers Of Prophecy

In fact, the time is coming -- so one of the scriptural prophets of old foretold -- when anyone falsely claiming to be a prophet will be subject to the death penalty as a liar and fraud, who will be too ashamed to call themselves anything like a prophet (Zechariah 13:2-6).

Until then, false "visionaries" will mislead by telling you what you want to hear, if you are willing to listen to them (usually for a price).

These are typically the sort of "prophet" who will forecast good times, prosperity, peace or longevity here and now, and for the foreseeable future!

They want people to feel good about themselves and their prospects, even or especially if what they really need is to feel miserable about their guilty part in all the evils and troubles coming upon us, and the world as a whole, with growing ferocity and terror.

The false "prophets" will never expose the true evil in our midst, that those claiming to "save" us from terror are the true terrorists, hiding behind the mantle of governmental and media leadership and authority, proffering "security" by forcing everyone into an insecure, volatile and eventually deadly environment.

Working handily with those who make a great pretension of being public servants -- politicians who are supposedly, but not genuinely, likable and actually concerned about the welfare of others -- such "prophets" and those who mislead the world into death and destruction out of fear, motivated by antipathy and greed, will soon bring our world to the brink of total annihilation!

Such is the nature, and the dangers, of prophecy in this age -- particularly in America -- that a true prophet is considered to be an utter fool and insane, who must face many dangers and growing hostility (cf. "Hosea" 9:7-8; only a true prophet would be aware of the fact, know assuredly, and tell you truthfully that this entire prophetic book of scripture deals mainly with modern day America).

Which is to say that, even today in our "modern" supposedly sophisticated, science-driven age, such things as true prophets are still very much a part of our reality, whether or not you accept and believe in this fact.

Perhaps all the more so as the very idea of true prophecy and actual prophets is ridiculed and ostracized.

Three Contemporary Examples Of Fulfilled Prophecies

If the Creator did speak directly to any prophet today it would doubtless be taken as "evidence" of a psychologically disturbed mental state, subject to involuntary drugging and restraint.

This, however, is rarely how real prophecies are given or received.

Actual prophecy often comes as dreams, otherwise called visions, while asleep, which are vividly recalled upon awaking.

Otherwise, a true prophet might act in strange or seemingly abnormal ways, doing and saying things even they are unaware at the time are prophetic, with little or no understanding or intention behind these acts of being anything like prophecy.

Then there are times when a true prophet will just blurt out some, at the time, seemingly odd utterance, that later turns out to be hauntingly accurate in having foretold serious events, especially those of national importance.

Three examples from my own life and experience should suffice to show you how this happens.

The Challenger Shuttle Disaster Was
Prophesied And A Prophecy For America

Two weeks into January 1986 my wife and I were watching televised coverage of the shuttle Columbia, a name which stands for America in so many ways, being the name of the idol perched atop the Capitol building in Washington, District of Columbia, and the actual name of the idol called the "statue of Liberty," and even the statue representing supposed "justice" in most courtrooms across modern day America.

This particular space shuttle mission was fraught with problems, which nearly prevented the launch, and then additional problems surfaced which caused the mission to be prematurely aborted. Finally, the attempt to bring the shuttle and crew safely back to earth also experienced mechanical and other difficulties.

At this point, on January 18th 1986, I turned to my wife and bluntly said: "These are all warnings! If they try to launch another shuttle it's going to be a complete disaster!"

Every American who is informed on the subject knows of the tragedy that ensued just ten days later, on January 28th, when the attempt to launch the Space Shuttle Challenger ended in the destruction of the craft and crew immediately after launch.

Not many Americans are also aware of the many similarities between this event and that of the ancient tower of Babel related in the 11th chapter of the scriptural book of Genesis, much less the similar relation to prophecies against Babylon in "Jeremiah" 50 and 51 (particularly 51:53, in relation to a militarily armed space station), much less the prophecies against Mystery Babylon found in 17th and 18th chapters, especially 18:21, of the scriptural and prophetic book of Revelation).

A mere ten days after my utterance it all came sickeningly true right before the eyes of most Americans, on live nationwide television.

Few are aware, even today, of the fact that the crew was representative of a modern Babylonian mixing of the races, sexes and religions, all attempting unitedly to mount up to heaven as was the intent of the ancient builders of the Tower of Babel.

Intended to be an object lesson for young students, with a teacher aboard the flight, most youngsters across America were treated instead to an object lesson in humility, futility, grief and consternation.

Things were not, as they were -- and are still being -- taught, entirely blessed and right with the United States of America, in spite of all the patriotic fervor, prejudice and chest-thumping false bravado.

The Oklahoma City Federal Building Bombing Prophecy

Again nine years later, on April 19th 1995, I took a shopping trip with my oldest son from our central Texas home to Austin, but somehow decided to turn off the main route a few minutes after 9:00 am that morning, and headed to San Antonio and the Alamo instead.

When I was the same age as our son then was (who was born shortly after the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster, in April 1986), my family moved from my birthplace of Kansas City Missouri to Oklahoma City.

There I grew up, through the last year of junior high school, when we returned to live in Kansas City once again.

While we lived in Oklahoma City I attended Boy Scout troupe meetings held at a the First Methodist Church on NW 4th street, in downtown Oklahoma City, only a few miles from where we then lived.

One block away the Untied States federal building would be built years later, which became the site of a national calamity that same moment I diverted our course that tragic morning, 30 years later!

When we reached the Alamo I called my wife from a phone on the plaza outside the main Alamo structure, where all the death and carnage took place between American patriots and the Mexican Federales on March 6th 1836, resulting in the deaths of the American defenders.

This is when I first learned of the tragedy in Oklahoma City, and realized exactly why I was standing in front of the Alamo at that moment.

It was an inspired prophetic sign I had no way of understanding before the fact, of the reality that had just taken place, in which America's own federal government conspired to kill fellow Americans in a false flag attack with a two-pronged purpose.

First was to utterly discredit and dismantle the growing patriot militia movement then fomenting and fermenting openly across America, the result of deadly attacks by federal government agents, and even the military, against innocent civilians such as the Weaver family in Ruby Ridge, Idaho in August 1992, and the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas on April 19, 1993.

In fact, records of the Waco incident were held in the federal building in Oklahoma City, all of which were conveniently destroyed in the resulting carnage that morning, two years to the day after that tyrannical rampage against women, children and religious adherent Americans vilified, attacked and murdered by their own lawless federal government.

An event in central Texas that was hauntingly reminiscent of the total carnage at the Alamo by the federales 157 years earlier.

The 9-11-2001 Prophecies

All of which was hauntingly foreboding of yet another tragic incident in the history of America (yet another false flag operation by agents with an evil agenda within the federal government and military), that took place the morning of September 11th 2001.

Four days before that I had finished work and had printed an issue of a newspaper, published and distributed locally in the county of Hamilton, Texas with the page one banner headline: "LOCAL PLAGUES -- Hamilton County Judges Warned in Advance!"

Distributed to local citizens through September 10th, in that article I revealed how, the previous year -- according to column 1 of that story, supposedly on September 11th 2000 (a mistaken date resulting from a visiting judge mis-entering the date in the court docket for a hearing that actually took place on the 12th, according to the court reporter's record) -- I cited the prophecy of "Ezekiel" 22:23-29 in open court, during a criminal trial hearing leading to my "conviction" for a non-existent "crime," in a rigged trial in early 2001, during which I was denied the assistance of counsel and the right to call any witnesses in my defense.

The unwillingness of the judges to hear the facts, at that recusal hearing -- attempting to prove the local district court judge was biased, prejudiced and a judicial incompetent -- led to the very plagues against which I had warned them; in particular an ongoing drought situation that started to plague the area immediately following my arrest and imprisonment for a year, in December 2005 (a drought that lingers to this day in this county and state).

The resulting wild fires ravaged the state of Texas, particularly in areas I was kept a prisoner that year of 2006, and repeatedly abused, nearly killed on several occasions, and otherwise mistreated, starved, held in solitary confinement most of the year, and denied basic toiletries, many missed meals, nearly all outside recreation or exercise, and basic medical treatment (even when pepper-sprayed, after which I was denied a shower to wash off the caustic chemical for more than 24 hours), for daring to adhere to my priestly nazarite vow and refusing to have my head shorn like some skinhead gang member; while illicit and forbidden gang tattooing activities of other prisoners met with little or no resistance or punishment by the prison staff.

Millions of dollars in property damage, and lives were lost, during that plagued year for Texans, the basic unjust and dishonest law enforcement reasons for which most of the public remains ignorant to this day.

Little wonder then, the loss of freedom and liberty for most Americans that immediately followed, and continues unabated to this day, that day the Twin Trade Towers fell in New York City (the modern fulfillment of the major port city of world renown, Mystery Babylon the Great, if ever there was one)!

The misnomered P.A.T.R.I.O.T act became the chief cornerstone in the martial rule grasp for total control over the United States and all Americans, by foreigners and traitors in our own midst, now in total control of the federal and most state governments, leading eventually to all-out martial law, given another "justifiable" false flag pretext.

The day before all this erupted onto the national news scene, on September 10th 2001, after delivering all the newspapers the prior three days, I sent out an email update in which -- unaware of any prophetic context or reason for them -- I used words such as: "two strikes against," "hijack," "this wicked miscarriage of justice," "what do you do when there is no true adversary," "someone who springs upon you like a vicious animal out of the blue, without warning," "double deadlines to meet," "emergency 911," "none of their usual alarms went off," "sounds like deliberate sabotage, but imbecility is not totally out of the question either. We may not ever be told the full story," "'gone to ground' and burned out," and "stung by a scorpion," among many others.

All of which was published in that email that was sent to APT Updates subscribers around the world 13 hours before the fatal attacks in New York City and Washington D.C. took place the very next day (13 being a number so representative of America and its federal government, as the actual culprits behind these attacks)!
