Is Yahveh's Work A One-Man Job?

There is a tendency today to think of the ministry as a "one-man job."

It is anything but, in fact, regardless how readily most fall under this popular delusion.

While it may be true that, to date, one man has literally researched, written, often published and otherwise conducted the work of this ministry, it is far from a "one-man" operation.

You see, to accomplish all that has been done to date, has required the support, prayers, tithes and offerings of faithful people, regularly sacrificing their time, effort, and a portion of their life's efforts.

None of which is insignificant or trivial, in the effort to accomplish this work of the Spirit to this end age!

Some may think lightly of that, disparaging the attempt -- against incredible odds of repeated adversarial assaults, attacks and troubles -- to carry forth a work of faith to this dying world.

They readily criticize the one who chooses to fulfill such a calling, labeling him "lazy" and "shiftless" and in need of "getting a job" to support himself and his family, when the financial support is not enough to provide all of what anyone today thinks and believes is a "sufficient" income.

No Oxen Treads Alone

Of course, covering the basics is never considered enough for some judgmental types who, no matter what, seem determined to criticize, disparage, and condemn things beyond their carnal ken to comprehend, in the true spiritual light by which such things can alone be accurately seen and judged.

The saying, "no man is an island" is certainly true, when it comes to the work of the spirit in this age.

No ox can tread out the grain, muzzled or not, without help getting into the harness, assistance in growing, harvesting and bringing the grain to the grindstone, and then bagging and taking the ground flour to store, not to forget cooking, preparing and serving it for meals.

In short, it takes a whole lot of joint effort in the same direction to bring about the end result of a refreshing, pleasing, hunger-assuaging repast, with a lot of often hidden hands behind the process from seed to finished food.

There is no difference when it comes to spiritual matters.

One visible individual doing the work, like the baker of a loaf of bread, does not negate the necessity for all the rest to do their part, in the joint effort to conduct a work or ministry.

Anywhere along the line, anyone shirking their duty or responsibility makes it harder, to impossible, for any completed effort to be accomplished or achieved.

This includes far more than mere tithes and offerings.

It involves mainly effective and powerful prayers, which can only be made by those who are truly righteous.

All of which involves sacrifice, in one form or another.

United In Prayers

There is the time required, the restraint from wicked pursuits, and the effort needed not only to pray powerfully effective prayers, but also to resist the adversarial attempts to subvert, pervert, control, manipulate and otherwise corrupt, to make such prayers ineffective, and incapable of bringing about the desired or needed results.

When such prayers are a joint effort by many different people, even if scattered and no matter how alone in their own locales they might be, the results can be outstanding and incredible!

That is only possible, however, when everyone pulls together for the same united purpose.

After all, no runner in any race ever succeeded in getting to the finish line, if all the parts of their body: legs, arms, feet, lungs, head and heart, were not cooperating and involved -- each in their own unique, particular way, most suited to their nature -- in the selfsame effort at the exact same time, for the same ultimate purpose.

This is why Yahveh's work has never been a "one-man job," and never will be!

    How about you?

Will you join in the required effort to do His will in this end age, to receive the greatest blessing -- better than any other possible -- as a just reward for a work worthy of such a noble endeavor?
