Despite accusations by so many today about the supposedly harsh, unforgiving, oppressive nature of what they misperceive as representing the Creator in scriptures wrested out of context, there are some key traits that hallmark those who are not to be forgiven their sins.
The list is found in Revelation 21:8, which specifies:
"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice drugs, the idolators, and all liars -- their place will be in the lake of fire and burning sulfur. This is the second death."
The second death is utter and complete destruction, with no hope of any future resurrection or existence; this is where all of the unforgiven will finally be destroyed and wiped out from among the living, as though they never existed.
Looking over this list, you can readily see that there is nothing good, pure, decent or worthy that is included, so those who are thus have no worry of being misjudged or consigned a place among the unforgiven.
Justifying Injustice
It should also be apparent that it is only those who are unrepentantly wicked in any of these specified ways who will be found unworthy of forgiveness or salvation.
Each evil trait listed is as bad as the next, being part and parcel of the same nature as the unrepentant adversary called the devil, or satan, in the English translation of scripture called the Bible.
Take unbelievers as a case in point.
So-called "atheists" or agnostics who disbelieve in the existence of a Creator are, potentially, the most violent of people, because they do not believe there are any ultimate consequences for their actions.
Therefore unbelievers are liable to justify any terrorist torture, abuse or mistreatment, including murder in the name of "the law," while hiding behind a cloak of concealment to avoid any repercussions for their actions, like the vile and reprehensible cowards they in fact are.
Unbelievers tend to be fearful people, willing to hear and spread vicious gossip, rumor, innuendo and slanderous accusations against people they've never met, do not know personally or intimately, and assume to be everything their wicked hearts accuse without reason, cause or recourse by those they blatantly attack and wrong with such tactics.
Self-Destructive Self Justification
Unbelievers are those who delight in judging (misjudging) others, casting them in the image of their own wicked and deceitful hearts, to the point of hatred, abuse or attack, without a clue about how they are themselves fulfilling everything they often unjustly fear others are doing, or might do, to them.
Because they do not believe in consequences for their actions, in the form of a vengeful Creator, who after infinite patience seeking their repentance and forgiveness, finally recompenses and rights all wrongs, unbelievers are liable to, and often do, go to tortuous extremes in relation to those they hate, fear and wrongly accuse.
Cowardly unbelievers, as a consequence, often embrace all that is vile, sexually immoral, drug use, idolatry, lies or perjury, and even justify murder as "justice," rather than admit the sinful errors of their own perverse and corrupt hearts, minds and practices.
Rather than looking to their Creator for truth, wisdom, understanding and knowledge, they trust instead in themselves solely, or in others of their own ilk among humanity, going from bad to worse in an ever downward spiral of corruption, depravity, and self-justification.
Deluded Deception
Scripture warns you to avoid such evil ways, no matter the source, including any so-called human-devised "authority" -- whether it be in the false names of "welfare," "security," "the law," "the state" or "patriotism," that disguise acts of theft, broken promises, lies, deceit, libels, perjuries, hidden motives, and secretive agendas while concealing, justifying and condoning the most cowardly, vile, murderous, detestable and immoral acts -- as follows:
"Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?" ("Isaiah" 2:22).
In other words, start trusting in He who gives you every breath of life you will ever take, along with the ability to think and reason. Carefully consider your thoughts, intentions and actions in the light of His way and requirements, as set forth and revealed only through His righteous Statutes, Laws, Ordinances and Judgments; none of which are grievous unless you blatantly choose to ignore and disobey them.
How can a murderer not expect to be held accountable for their detestable crime?
Yet fearful, unbelieving, vile, immoral, deceitful, drug abusing people today routinely think they will escape judgement for their wicked ways, under the false delusion there is no Creator to hold them accountable.
A Vital Warning!
Sinners willingly blind themselves to the evidence of the Creator's existence that surrounds us -- from symbiotic forms of life, which cannot exist or survive without each other, and therefore could never have "evolved" separately or otherwise -- to the very nature and reality of life, procreation, and death.
These all inform us of our limited time to qualify for something better and far more blessed than your short existence on an abundant earth, capable of sustaining the lives of every living being, despite the fearful false future prognosticators who see nothing but doom and gloom for all in the end.
They are willingly ignorant of the fact that life on earth survives despite the most reprehensible, irresponsible and even deliberately self-destructive acts of wicked men and women, due to the unseen but very real protective hand of a caring Creator at work behind the scenes, sustaining His creation despite all attempts to subvert, destroy or adulterate everything good in it.
Do not embrace or join with the compassion-less ways of the unforgiven, or for you the dire false forebodings of these wicked miscreants may well become your own, as well as their, self-fulfilling prophecy!
