Vital Lessons From The Sacred Calendar

There are exactly seven major annual occasions in the sacred calendar.

These are the three festival observances (Passover and Unleavened Bread, Feast of Weeks or Pentecost, and the Feast of Ingathering or Tabernacles/Last Great Day).

Add in the four New-Cycle Celebration Feasts -- spring, summer, fall or Reva (“Trumpets”) and winter -- for a total of seven.

There is an eighth important observance, which is the fast of Atonement, as well.
That also adds up to ten total observances, if you count Passover and Unleavened Bread, along with Tabernacles and The Last Great Day, separately.

Feast Duality

Everything is dual, with the notable exception of Pentecost, the closest parallel to it being the first day of winter New-Cycle Feast sabbath celebration.

Atonement has a parallel in the separating of the lambs for Passover on the tenth day of the first cycle “month.”

Also unique among sabbath observances, Atonement alone begins its observance at sunset on the 9th day of the seventh cycle (this number representing the adversary, who always falls one short of perfection in his rebellious and unrepentant attitude and actions).

The nighttime of this observance also represents the adversary’s influence in the world, leading to so much sin, sorrow and remorse, for those who live to see the new day dawn (the Kingdom on earth).

That new day, which begins at dawn rather than the previous evening, as most erroneously assume, is the tenth of the seventh cycle “month,” which exemplifies the Creator’s perfect Law!

The fact all of this takes place in the seventh cycle “month” indicates another perfect number principle revealed in the sabbath (both sabbaths and the seventh cycle “month” being determined by the New Cycle Celebration observances), bearing out the Creator’s perfect control over even the adversarial world, in and through which He perfects a chosen elect few in this age, to learn the joy and rewards of obedience to His every word.

There are exactly 45 regular sabbaths, that are not New Cycle Celebrations or Feast sabbaths, throughout the year.

This number, which is a product of five times nine, also adds down to nine, revealing the purpose of these observances every seven days in schooling those whose nature is more adversarial, in regard to the Creator’s perfect plan, in the ways of peace, concern and care, joy, trust, belief, patience, perseverance, and thanksgiving (but only for those who participate and obey this commanded observance throughout each year).

Significance Of The Feast Seasons

Doubtless there is much more for us to learn, by way of vital lessons, from the sacred calendar.

All it requires is a mind focused less on the distractions and carnal desires of this world and age, while holding the Creator and Savior foremost in your conscious awareness each and every day, and doing for others — even your neighbors — as you would have them do for you!

The three major Feast seasons throughout the year, Passover/Unleavened Bread, Pentecost and Reva/Atonement/Tabernacles/Last Great Day, in the spring, summer and fall, reflect the overall plan of the Creators here on earth.

The first deals with the promised offspring of Abraham, the Savior whose life, death and resurrection would finally defeat the adversary’s destructive influence on earth.

This includes the chosen elect, who respond to the calling to rid their lives of all sin (leaven), in advance of the Savior’s return to establish the Father Yahveh’s Kingdom here on earth.

Next, after seven weeks starting immediately after Unleavened Bread, Pentecost represents not only the original giving of the Law and Commandments to the Ya'sar'elites of old through Moses, but also the final restoration of these through the EliYahv-like prophet sent in this age, just prior to the Savior’s return.

Finally, the fall Feasts represent first the clarion warning alarm of Reva, about the great spiritual conflict and world war that is about to be fought, just before the Savior’s return.

Atonement then follows, representing the time of great tribulation for the elect, followed by the Creator’s wrath in the form of plagues and woes for all the unrepentant inhabitants on earth. This includes, and concludes, with the destruction of the beast and false prophet in the Lake of Fire, and the restraint of the adversary for the entire duration of the 1,000-year rule of Messiah Yahvsave here on earth over all nations.

Soon after the Feast of Tabernacles begins with the first Feast sabbath, representing the first resurrection after which the wedding supper of the Lamb takes place before Creator Father Yahveh’s heavenly throne, followed by the elect returning with the Savior to help establish His Kingdom over all the nations on earth.

The following six days of the Feast of Tabernacles, when temporary dwellings are lived in by those observing this festival, represent the time during which what remains of physical humanity learns to finally live according to the ways of humility, peace, prosperity and joyful co-existence, during which the arrogant wicked are weeded out of existence.

This includes the final conflict when the adversary is loosed briefly, and brings the oriental hordes or Gog and Magog from the east to attack the unwalled city of Yaravsalem, only to meet their doom in a valley of slaughter to the north.

This begins the Last Great Day Feast observance, when the second resurrection takes place, and the adversary is finally punished with destruction in the Lake of Fire, along with all those not found worthy to enjoy the spiritual first resurrection (which includes those who failed to maintain their faith, to be destroyed in the Lake of Fire at the start of the 1,000-year millennium).

The second resurrection is only to a normal, but perfect physical recreation, still subject to illness and possible death, for which the fruit of the Tree of Life will finally be permitted to heal the nations (Revelation 22:2).

This represents the time after which all the wicked have been destroyed in the Lake of Fire, following which there will be one long Great Day when the Father Creator Yahveh comes to dwell with His Son, the Messiah Yahvsave, and all the then obedient humanity here on earth.

A Final Vital Lesson From The Sacred Calendar

These are the major Feasts, not forgetting the final New Cycle celebration sabbath Feast of the year, which is the first day of the tenth New Cycle “month” of the year; the first day of winter.

This, as wintertime does with its usual covering of white snow over everything (in most northern climes) represents the final spiritual perfection of all creation, including the promised new heavens and new earth!

All of these vital lessons from the restored Sacred Calendar are reminders of things past, and prophetic reminders of things yet to come, to give you hope for the final survival of those who prove worthy of the great blessings soon to be unveiled here on earth!
