What Will History’s Final Lesson Be?

The history of the earth has been one of murder, mayhem and misdeeds, ever since the first brother Cayen — whose rebellious actions led to his sacrifice being rejected — killed his sibling righteous brother Abel out of sheer envy (Genesis 4:1-16).

Thousands of years later — over a thousand years from now — the final lesson of human history under the sway of the same deceitful, lying, conniving and duplicitous adversary and false accuser, who was directly behind Cayen’s sinful misdeeds, will take place.

At that time Gog (Gomer?) and Magog, descendants of the oriental son of Noah named Yapeth (Genesis 10:2), will assemble a coalition of nations and attempt to attack the unwalled and seemingly unprotected city of Yaravsalem.

History's Ultimate Lesson

Beyond the adversary, whose activities and influence upon humanity will be mercifully restrained for 1,000 years prior to that, during the soon-coming age of Regent Priests otherwise known as the Millennium, exactly what will Gog and Magog’s motives be for this brazen but doomed act?

The description of the new Yaravsalem that follows this period gives us a clue.
We discover that scriptural prophecy reveals the following about what will become the new Throne of the heavenly Creators here on earth:

“The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life” (Revelation 21:24-27).

The shameful things are outlined and described earlier in this same chapter:

“He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his Almighty One and he will be my son. But the cowardly, the disbelieving, the unclean, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice drug use, idolaters, and all liars — their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulphur. This will be the second death” (Revelation 21:7-8).

Historical Duality

Why would the nations “in the four corners of the earth — Gog and Magog” (Revelation 20:8) feel so motivated to gather for battle many other nations and peoples into a final coalition, and to: “march across the breadth of the earth to surround the camp of Yahveh’s people, the city He cares for” (verses 8-9; paraphrased)?

Coming against a peaceful, seemingly undefended people unprovoked, to attack them, is itself a cowardly act, but where is the “justification” for this, in the eyes of those so driven by their anger to attempt this final act of insanity?

The adversary’s rage over the defeat of his beast and false prophet’s attempt to destroy all of humanity, through their world ruling fake, counterfeit city of gold and precious jewels, Mystery Babylon the Great (New York City, the only major modern port city of merchants in the entire world to match the description of this monstrosity given in Revelation 18:10-24), is certainly not the sole or only reason for this final attempted atrocity.

It is reasonable to assume, since history is revealed through prophetic scripture to be dual in nature — with prior fore-type fulfillments of major, still future events — that the Savior’s throne and Temple in Yaravsalem will be very much like the coming New Yaravsalem, as the description of this millennial period in “Ezekiel” chapters 40-48 certainly indicates, much of which is in turn descriptive of the New Yaravsalem to come.

Little wonder, then, that we also find a dual prophecy against Gog (including Magog, in verse 6) in the prior chapter (39) of the prophetic book of “Ezekiel.”

There, in verse 7, you will find one indication of Gog and Magog’s sin, the motivation for their attack:

“I will make known my sacred name among my people Ya'sar'el. I will no longer let my sacred name be profaned, and the nations will know that I Yahveh am the sacred One in Ya'sar'el.”

The prior activities of those involved in this final conflict are evident in the fact that, posthumously after the defeat of Gog and Magog, the Ya'sar'elites: “…will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares Sovereign Yahveh” (“Ezekiel” 39:10).

Learned Animosity

So what is the motivation for the looting and plundering, if not the very same emotion that drove Cayen to his act of insane murder: envy?

Perhaps Gog and Magog, among other nations of earth far removed from Yaravsalem during the millennium, will find that their actions, practices and beliefs are less than acceptable, and some will be denied entry to Yaravsalem to offer sacrifices or present gifts to the King, Savior Yahvsave, during the millennium.

Certainly, the wounded pride of orientals, from China to the American west, has filled the pages of prior history already with countless acts of barbarity, violence, bloodshed and conquest, striking fear and terror into the hearts of those facing the merciless wrath of conquering invaders (as the name Khan once did across Europe).

To this day the orientals of the east are still known as a people who have turned martial acts of savagery into an “art” form, which many have learned as a type of idolatrous religious practice, in reality.

Even the losing of face, leading to acts of self-destructive suicide called hari-kari, or murderous acts of suicidal kamikaze attacks, are as renowned as the scalping and burning of victims by the American Indians once were across America, from east to west coasts (not only against non-Indians, but other Indian tribes as well).

All these are the result of learned hatred, animosity and the stubborn refusal to live at peace with neighbors different from one's own family, tribe or race.

The Corrupt Art Of War

Although it is now considered “politically incorrect” to recall such brutalities and provocations for the Indian wars, that finally nearly decimated these inhabitants of north America, it is very politic to recall these things in relation to the attitude and long history of violence and mayhem that preceded the arrival of Europeans to the shores of America for many centuries, as one tribe or clan of Indians continuously fought and attacked another, much as their distant relatives in far off China and Japan also did for thousands of years.

The “Art of War” is a textbook-like treatise by one such Chinese warrior, a general named Sun Tzu, long before the era of Genghis and his descendants that overflowed with hordes of vile Mongol (Gog and Magog) violence into eastern Europe, from the region of the Gobi desert of Mongolia and China.

Doubtless the final outcome of centuries of breeding and inbreeding this sort of “warrior” mystique and belief, into generations of the descendants of Gog and Magog, will finally come to its full and justly deserved judgment, at the final closing period of the Millennium; for which the Mongol invasion of Europe in the 13th century was a prior type of this closing prophecy of the book of Revelation, and also chapter 39 of the prophecy of “Ezekiel.”

Following the ultimate and final battle on earth, history’s final lesson will be to learn and practice only the humble ways of peace and true prosperity from then on, for all future time, by all the blessed survivors remaining alive here on earth!
