Was there something wrong with the Creator’s Laws and Commandments, to make it necessary to abolish them?
Let’s examine a few of them and see what could possibly justify the religious notion that they should have been nullified or cast aside as worthless...
Anti-Idolatry?
The first commandment deals with not worshipping other “mighty ones” in place of the Creator who gave His Laws and Commandments to the Yasarelites and, through them, to the rest of the world.
Other religions, such as Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism, demand that their followers worship only their once human but now dead leaders, ancestors, or even living men and/or women, assuming they are somehow “glorified” and worthy of such honor, while evolutionists demand everyone believe in the ridiculous notion that animals are somehow the immediate "ancestors" of people.
Everyone is divided in their loyalties to various obviously contradictory ideas of what or who to worship, or not to worship, as the case may be.
So this cannot be an objection against the Creator of heaven and earth and this particular Commandment to honor or worship Him and Him alone.
Unless, of course, you are the agnostic or irreligious type who prefers believing in the utter fiction that there is no originating intelligent Designer and Creator for all the order, complexity and miraculous life-sustaining environment that exists in spite of the inanimate, mostly unintelligent nature that surrounds us.
Worshipping In His Name?
What about the commandment not to make, bow down to, or worship inanimate objects such as idols?
Of course there are plenty who do this around the world, such as animists, American Indians, earth worshippers, Taoists, Buddhists, Masons and many a Catholic Christian.
However those who hate this commandment can show no reason why it is such an abomination to them, other than the fact that it requires them to give up such worthless and life-wasting pagan practices, founded in fear, ignorance or contempt for genuine faith in a very real Creator.
Further, knowing and worshipping only in the revealed sacred name of Creator Yahveh is taught by almost all Christians to be unnecessary “legalism,” just as the Jews adhere to the lie that it is “unpronounceable” -- or a death penalty offense for anyone other than a “high priest” on their "Atonement" to attempt -- exposed by their eagerness to execute anyone else who does know and speaks His true name, in their worship and obedience to this commandment to never take His name as unimportant (or “in vain”).
Likewise the Christian fallacy is exposed by their insistence on being known by foreign terms and worshipping in ancient pagan names once associated with pagan idol worship, such as Chrisna, Lord (Baal), God (Babylonian idol of fame, fortune, and armies or troops), etc.
Worse yet, the Christian “savior’s” name is said to be “Jesus,” which derives from the pagan idol Zeus, yet they cannot fathom how the true Savior’s name -- as revealed in the so-called “Old Testament” scriptures -- was based on the Creator’s name: Yahvsave (meaning: Yahveh our Savior), whose actual son He was!
No reasonable explanation to ignore these facts, or justify rejecting this commandment, obedience to which is the very definition of true salvation (Acts 4:12; cf. Joel 2:32), has ever been forthcoming from those who are so opposed to the restoration of this long-neglected truth.
Which "Sabbath" Do You Mean?
What about remembering and worshipping on -- by setting aside each seventh daylight, and commanded Feasts and Fasts, as sacred time to commune with the Creator and seek His will -- the true sabbaths?
Is there any special reason why the world’s pagan calendars, from Gregorian to Chinese and everything in between -- based on worshipping the sun, the moon and the planets or stars, such as the so-called week days Sun-day, Moon-day, Saturn-day, etc. -- are more desirable, compelling or “better” than these date of the year events that define each year perfectly, according to the Creator’s established seasons and prophetic times?
Observing the commanded Feasts and Fast of Atonement, along with the New-Cycle Celebration and regular seventh-day annual date-of-the-year sabbaths, which can fall on any of the supposed week days of the Gregorian calendar for instance, reveals the hidden prophetic events about to unfold before a shocked and chagrined world.
Is there some reason we should not know these things, in order to save our lives from the catastrophes they foretell and warn us against in advance?
What is so much more desirable about fictionalized holidays, that often leave a bad taste in the mouths of so many who observe them year after year, leading some to suicidal thoughts and actions, or riotous excesses involving drunkenness, drug use, debauchery and other admitted evils?
What Kind Of Honor, Fidelity, Or Law Is There?
Honoring your own father and mother, when they are old and infirm, with your substance, home and support -- as they did in raising, protecting and feeding you into adulthood (the actual intention of this commandment to “honor your father and mother") -- is supposedly worse than abandoning them to inadequate retirement “benefits,” or elderly prisons oxymoronically called “rest” homes, where they are often mistreated, are ill-fed into sickness and disease, are robbed of dignity and self worth, sometimes carelessly or even deliberately injured, and mostly drugged into insensibility just to keep them “manageable” and docile?
Even the world’s nations and their laws ostensibly all forbid murder, adultery, theft and false testifying, at least in the many divergent and often contradictory ways these things are defined by carnal man’s changeable secular laws, statutes and ordinances.
Is there something “wrong” with how these evils are defined and punished under the Creator’s Law and Commandments, in comparison?
Only a religious bigot, charlatan or criminal-minded pagan would argue this!
Your Neighbor's What?
And despite the increasing prevalence of the oldest, disease-ridden “profession” of sexual promiscuity, prostitution, adultery and fornication (which includes any deviate act between same sex or human and non-human), can anyone honestly argue the commandments forbidding these are somehow “flawed,” “unreasonable” or no longer needed to guarantee the sanctity and integrity of family, so that men are not co-opted like dumb brute beasts to labor in support of somebody else’s mistakes or deliberate acts of defiance against these safeguards of the basic building block of any viable society?
As for not coveting anything that belongs to others, we all demand respect for our own property and freedoms. Yet we live in a world where these are routinely violated, even by those often posing as our “protectors” or “law enforcers,” or increasingly armed government agents run amok!
What is inherently wrong with respecting, honoring and protecting your innocent neighbors’ rights, property and lives in the same way you expect yours to be?
Why Insecurity?
If there is something wrong with the Creator’s commandment to “do unto others as you would have them do to you” (Leviticus 19:18, 33-34; “Matthew” 22:39; Mark 12:31; Luke 10:27; Romans 13:9; Galatians 5:14; “James” 2:8), I’ve yet to hear one person satisfactorily explain or justify why this Statute should be discarded, ignored or disobeyed.
If you are going to believe something, you’d better have a very good reason for it.
So far, there has never been offered any valid or sufficient justification for abandoning the Creator’s Laws and Commandments in favor or anything or everything else.
Without such basic protections as these, is it any wonder there is so much insecurity in the world today?
We Are All Guilty!
Unless you can answer this probing question, that demands a reply -- What’s wrong with these Laws? -- what right do you have to oppose them, try to argue against their obvious and apparent enduring importance to our continued survival, health and security, or keep disobeying them like some criminal-minded felon!?
Because in one form or another you and I are more guilty than any breaker of man’s laws of the necessity for the Savior’s death and resurrection.
It was your and my hand alongside the adversary’s on the sword that took this innocent and righteous man’s life; the only human to live who never broke even the so-called “least” of any of His righteous and perfect commandments!
It isn’t the Creator’s Law or Commandments that are wrong, but rather the fault is in ourselves, and our all-too sinful yet self-justifying human nature.
