When Does The 21st Century Start?

An Audio Message From the Publisher:

This is Hank Scott, for The Pure Truth Restored...

When does the 21st century start? This might sound like a silly or "trick" question, and you might think the answer is all too obvious.

    Think again...

The "pope" recently declared the Gregorian calendar year, observed by most of the "civilized" world for the past four and a half centuries, based upon the Julian calendar observed for more than 17 centuries before that, to be in error -- the result of a miscalculation -- claiming that the year generally supposed to be 2012 today is actually 2016.

    Why?

This was an apparent reference to the little known fact that the Savior was actually not born anywhere near the year historically assumed to start the supposedly "Christian" calendar.

The assumption of 2,016 years from the year of the Savior's birth is based on the fact that He was actually born in 5 B.C.E. (or Before Common Era), during the reign of Herod the "Great," who died in 4 B.C.E. (there is no year "zero" so you must subtract 1 when counting from a year B.C.E. to a year C.E., or Common Era).

However, the "pope" erred even further from the true revealed and inspired calendar of our Creator, by continuing to count the year of the Savior's birth as the most significant historical event.

Nothing could be further from the truth, for there is one event that eclipses it in importance -- generally ignored and discarded by Christianity -- in the insane desire to observe pagan birthdays!

    What event is that?

There is something far more important than the Savior's birth or death (the common error of the modern calendar), the date for which has been known by scholars for decades, which is of far greater significance, and should become the most remembered, observed and venerated for you, if you are truly guided by the spirit of truth.

"Come on, get serious!" you might be thinking right now.

"What could possibly be more important?" you might be tempted to ask. Am I right?

Think carefully about the title of this article before you allow that line of thought and questioning to derail you from staying on the track to wisdom, inspiration and real understanding.

There is a spiritual disease that is raging rampant throughout the world today, which has always been an epidemic contagion of the heart and mind.

It goes by the names of presumption and arrogance, which spring full-blown from error and the fear to admit to this.

The only cure available is the willingness to open the heart and mind, just a little, to allow a ray of sunlight to shine upon assumptions and dispel errors, no matter how "painful" this may seem at first.

In time, if you allow this to continue, the healing and dispelling of error will leave joy and peace where there has been only confusion, hurt and hatred for anything different from what you've always been taught, and assumed -- along with the rest of the world -- to be "true," while this is actually nothing but often arrogant ignorance masquerading as "learning."

Consider the year the Savior was resurrected and brought back to life, leaving earth to take His place on the right hand of Creator Yahveh's heavenly throne, there to await the time for His unexpected return!

    Why unexpected?

Because by then the world will have gone so far as to presume it was all a lie, a myth, or a fevered fantasy of some "primitive" age and people, in all their "modern scientific" religious fervor.

Is not the year of the Savior's overcoming death the most significant event in human history?

That occurred in 30 C.E., according to the flawed Gregorian calendar way of calculating historical dates.

Which makes the current year, in all actuality, 1982 A.R. (After Resurrection), believe it or not.

So, once again, I ask you when does the 21st century start (or, if you like: when does the 20th century following this vital historical event, end)?

    Think carefully before answering.

Most might assume the answer to be 2030 C.E., but this ignores an important component of the query, which leads most to a wrong answer due to muddled thinking.

The answer, in flawed Gregorian calendar years, is 2031 (just as many assumed the year 2000 was the turn of the century, when it would have actually been the year 2001, had this been the correct year count in the first place).

The correct answer is that there are exactly 19 years remaining before the year 2001 A.R. arrives.

And if you look back over the past 19 years you should realize how much can happen, and things can change, in such a short period of time; all the more so today, in the world as it now exists.

As for myself, should I live that long, I would turn 80 just before the 21st century truly arrives. The same age Moses was when the children of Yasrael were brought out of Egypt under his leadership.

Could it be that, should you live that long, you will see the Kingdom of Yahveh established on this earth, over all nations, by that historic date?

A lot can happen in less than two decades...

The only question remaining is whether or not you will be able to rejoice to see that day, or even if you will survive to welcome it.

Most now living will not, and far too many will curse and dread the arrival of that day, with calloused and rebellious hearts clinging feverishly and desperately to the last gasp of their fatal spiritual illness.

Open your heart now, to allow a tiny ray of the true light of spiritual truth to enter, so that you may be at least a little prepared for what is about to take place here on earth, in the final few years, months and days of this last age of mankind's self-destructive, adversarial rule over the earth!
